Bit of a farce disciplinary?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/17846755

So Biggar has been handed a one week ban. During one of the Osprey's non-playing weeks. So ban means nothing. Pretty daft to start with

And then you read what the ban was for... He was brought to the disciplinary panel for getting 3 yellow cards in the whole season. Does that not seem like a low threshold to anyone else? When people can get yellow cards for accidental tackles going wrong (look at the Ferris case in the 6N), or being the last straw that broke the camels back (I remember Lee Byrne being yellow carded from an attacking position in the opposition 22 for holding on!) or for any other range of relatively minor offences, surely only getting 3 in a whole season isn't that bad!

Well gecko.

I can't say that i like Dan big head, but to be fair to the lad. This is a bit nuts (putting it mildly)

I can only assume that management is perceiving a problem with discipline and this is their solution.... But ye... this is a little OTT

Yup, I can only think that its a bit of a 'slap on the wrist' punishment for a non-offence. But it's not the Ospreys who have given the punishment, it's a Pro12 disciplinary panel.

As a side note, is Biggar the only person to get three cards in a season? Am I mistaken in thinking that some people would have received (significantly) more (in a shorter time period too)?
