'arry - great man-management

Hi guys, was on 606 under this name, but may change it after the rat-face fiasco going on.
Anyway, just thought I'd say, say what you like about 'arry's love for hearing his own voice and seeing his own face in the media, I really think his man-management is superb.
His quotes yesterday were brilliant. Even though he probably feels let down by Rat boy, and it's the last thing he needs, he's massaging the boy's ego and sending out the love just in case he does stay, knowing it will help ease the fall and help him slot back into playing.

"He is not a trouble-maker in any way shape or form,' Redknapp said. 'He has come in, trained great today. That's how he is. He will just get on with his job and we will just wait and see what happens. We really don't want to lose him because he is a key player for us.'
'He will be going to South Africa, for sure. He is the last lad in the world that would ever cause a problem. You would never meet a nicer boy. He has not got it in him to be nasty,' added Redknapp.

I doth my hat to you 'arry, that's all I have to say.

Levy and Harry are playing it perfectly...Harry is distancing himself from whats going on between Levy and Modric, he always mentions that the chairman says Luka isn't for sale, which is exactly how it should be, the last thing we want is that Harry falls out with Modric as well, then it would be a disaster

'Arry isn't one to fall out with players... apart from Darren Bent

Yes,Levy is driving him away with threats and 'arry is not resisting as he wants the cash to make more of his famous deals with.

If he goes it shows how weak Levy really is after all his mouthing off.

I can see where the good cop bad cop might be useful but Levy can't like seeing Harry saying that Luka would never cause a problem. That means someone else (Levy) might have. Is Harry suggesting that there was a gentlemen's agreement (for what it is worth)?

If Luka is being unreasonable or disloyal then to my mind he IS causing a problem and one of the biggest ones we've had to deal with in years.

I think majority of footballers are decent people bar a few. So Modric probably is a good lad.

He probably is, but this really wasn't the way to get himself a move. Look at how Fabregas and Nasri have acted....both want to leave, but haven't come out moaning in the press.
RRP...agreed, think Levy and 'Arry playing it perfectly.

Yep - When I saw Harry's comments I thought they were well-chosen too.

If Modric IS going to stay (unlikely though that seems) we need him to still have a good relationship with Harry and the rest of the playing/coaching staff.
