Hearts fail to pay players on time AGAIN!!!

this is actually beyond a joke now. i hope the SPL hammer them for it. the SPL still haven't passed any sanctions for their failure to pay players in September ffs citing they were due £300k for TV money which has apparently now been paid(probably from oldco prize money no doubt)

anybody know what punishments are avaialable or will the SPL maintain the status quo and just make them up as they go along?

seems you pay your players extra and all hell breaks loose

Better not even paying then anything as that seems ok.

Hearts have something like £26m debt, and it is with Ukio Bankas....the bank Romanov owns.

Only reason it isnt being called in and the $hit ist hitting the fan is down to this.

I personally think the SPL know this, and with Romanov being as volatile and unpredictable as he is, and having rants at the authorities in this country before for being agaisnt him and all that.........all it would take would be for him to just say fck it, walk away, stop the "financial support" his banking group gives Hearts, for his bank to call that debt in like HBOS did with Rangers, Hearts would seriously be in $hit street, and Romanov would milk whatever assets of Hearts were left, be the major creditor owed, and leave a gaping hole in Scottish Football.

The SPL dont want this to happen......hence why I think they will let Hearts away with not paying players the odd time when there are cash flow problems........this is the fourth time now, and the players complained to the SPL about it......they will not enter admin unless Romanov gives the green light, the SPL dont want that to happen, so will go easy....thats how I see it

I think HMRC will be watching closely - remember Hearts are late with taxes occasionally too.

It does not take too much, when things are being run so tight, for some creditor - ANY creditor, to go for application for admin. And as WE all know, THAT sets the ball rolling down a hill, that IMO, Hearts would not survive.

Hearts already have a transfer embargo on them for the failure to pay the players. Its an automatic sanction.

The previous failure was not registered by the players or officials as they were notified of the issue, and the new payment date and all was met - on rescheduled time. This time however there was no warning and the sanction is automatic - allegedly...

Transfer bans are pretty pointless when the transfer window is shut. Meaningless.

Points deduction the only proper punishment here.
