Harlequins sign Antonio Kaufusi

He's done in the NRL and is only 26. This is the sort of player Harlequins needs to give the team some go forward.
They will probably have to sign a couple of more big forwards as well.

It's a start and once the other big blokes that are required know they won't be doing it on there own and with the aid of Kaufusi it surely must help the club get the signatures needed.

Sid, I know we can't compare the Harlquins with Melbourne Storm but that is what the R/L are hoping/trying that happens down the track for the Harlequins to take off and generate a crowd of home base supporters.
The 2 good things coming out of this London base team is the junior level is expanding every year I believe and the corporate pound has got to be easier to come by surely.

How much longer would you give the people of London, bearing in mind the fulhambroncoquins have been there for around 30 years and still struggle to get 2000 paying customers, Cut them loose , the people of London dont care for this game at all.

I just can't help but think how everyone here said (self included) at the time of the NRL taking the game to Melbourne the heartland of AFL and saying it will never work, now they have got a fantastic supporter base and growing each year.

There was 2 major factors that helped acheive this........loads of money poured into this adventure and a winning team straight from the out-set virtually.

I know it must be hard for those supporters seeing their team being relegated from the heartlands while this mob in London are kept being proped up but if there is a small chance of this coming off then I believe it is worth the pain & money.for the sake of the future of our great game....

excellent signing and a big signal that the quins are getting the licence, and rightly so.
