Well now that's out of the way

2013....bring it on....blow that whistle ref. we are ready.

I'm not sure about you lads, I dread the off season...it's seems to drag on for an eternity.

My prediction for the NRL competition is for the closest season we have seen in years with not one stand-out team but 3-4 real good chances and another 3-4 whom wouldn't surprise me to see go all the way.

Bulldogs Vs South's for me...(with one eye red and the other green.

Cheers to all and I hope your individual team gives you some delight in 2013..

Bulldogs for me in the grand final.
Leeds again for the Super League grand final.
Wigan for the challenge cup.

Leeds...B-F.
Have Leeds been in the market for some youth B-F...they have been called an ageing team for the past 2 years, albeit with results.

I just think rabbits that the way that the format is for the play offs suits Leeds who feel that they can win a grand final from any play off spot The team also as well has tremendous mental strength.

Yes, not long to go. I am trying to find a bookie who will double up on Parra & Hull KR. I think the former is a given with sticky Ricky at the helm. Hull KR provides a bigger challenge.

Touching back down on planet Earth and as always with the NRL, if there is an English bloke in the GF I will be rooting for that team. Spoilt for choice last year

As for England...Leeds must start as favourites but it is time for a change and Warrington are building up a head of steam.

Happy New Year to everyone!

I am chomping at the bit for the start of SL. Inevitably, Leeds are always going to be firm favorites for the Grand Final. But I have a feeling they're going to have a tough year this year.

For the last 2 seasons at least, they've had very slow starts, only to really come to life by mid season, and then really come into their own when it really counts. But for 2013 I don't think they will be quite so fortunate- they have a team in transition: out with some of the old, and in with some new faces. And that's why I think 2013 will be quite barren for them trophy-wise.

as a consequence, Wigan will probably win the Grand Final, as well as finishing top dog in the league; and as for the Challenge Cup - that will go to either Wigan or Warrington. I'd like to think my own team - the Giants - will be up there somewhere, but they constantly flatter to decieve; and always disappoint more times than they they entertain.

Anyway, here's to looking to a great year's worth of RL
