Far Cry 3

Is this the sort of game you can play casually or do you have to immerse yourself fully in it?

Never played an open world FPS shooter before - like the concept though!

Worth getting?

'Tis a quality game. Not really my cup of tea either, played FC 2 and didn't enjoy it, but 3 is incredible, especially on a big HD tv.

I wouldnt sideshow - may put you off 3! 1 was great, 2 was awful, 3 is amazing

Don't play 2. Far Cry 3 is a stand alone game.

Great game although I preferred the side missions to the main ones, sound track is great too. I've got the end credit music on my iPhone

I got Arkham City recently and played through the story but couldn't get into it. I bought Borderlands 2 in October and have always gone back to it, it's so much fun when you play co op or with others online, and it can be pretty casual too, but again like Far Cry it sucks you in

If anyone loved Timesplitters 2, you'll probably love Borderlands 2 too
