These are the previews for the upcoming EPL Tournament, hope you enjoy!
Group A
Sideshow
Team: Norwich
Odds: 7 – 1
Previous Tournament Performances: N/A
Ranked: N/A
Sideshow made a little bit of tournament history by being the first player ever to come through a qualifying stage to be here, beating Batman, Robby and 1man on the way and whilst only Batman and Robby proved a test, it was still an achievement to get here. Now on to the group where he faces Comu, May and myself, very tough introduction! I personally think he might spring a shock against one of us, but won’t do enough to progress. Will be a nice learning curve for him should he choose to enter again.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Tyke
Team: Sunderland
Odds: 5 – 1
Previous Tournament Performances: Final, semi-final, group stages, group stages, quarter-final, semi-final, group stages, group stages, semi-final
Ranked: 6th
Having finally got my act together last tournament posting a very respectable semi-final appearance and pushing Voom all the way it is now time to put some consistency back into my tournament performances. Looking at the group Comu sticks out having Manchester City but he is prone to dropping a clanger, May will be tough as usual, even more so after what happened last time and Sideshow unpredictable, however I back myself to go through as I like this Sunderland team, will be very tight tho.
Verdict: Quarter-Finals
May
Team: West Ham
Odds: 6 – 1
Previous Tournament performances: Final, Final, Group-Stages
Ranked: 8th
It all came crashing down for May last tournament, having posted two final appearances a group-stage exit was all he could muster last tournament, albeit he had a poor team. This tournament however the teams have not been so cruel with West Ham more than capable of getting out of the group and it should be a close battle with him, Tyke and Comu fighting it out. I predict him to exit in the group stages again, but it will be close!
Verdict: Group-Stages
Comu
Team: MCFC
Odds: 3 – 1
Previous tournament performances: Final, semi-final, quarter-final, quarter-final, semi-final, quarter-final
Ranked: 5th
Having been absent for the last few tournaments Comu is back with arguably the strongest team in the tournament. This could finally be the tournament where he takes that step and wins the final. However he has a tough to group to negotiate and he is prone to throwing a wobbler, I think he will get through the group, but lose in the semis, probably to Kent.
Verdict: Semi-Final
