I kinda missed out on the 80s. For me Formula One is as exciting right now as I can remember - I know the overtaking is assisted and tyre management is key - but the racing is good
WTCBU - Am I right in thinking that you do not rate Senna, I seem to remember you thought he was downright dangerous, and didn't rank him in your top 10 drivers.

Welshy - you are correct.
I never liked him when he was alive and I see no reason to like him now. I always thought that Prost was a better driver. From what I have read on various sport forums I am not alone in that view.

Like Schumi, there were things I loved about Senna and there were things I loathed about him too.
I wonder if we had fora like this in those days what people would have said about Senna
