Goodbye and thank you Arshavin.

Wanted to make an article for this. As you can probably guess from my username (which may or may not change slightly) I love him! His goals and assists last season were vital for us finishing 3rd and if we had not finished 3rd who knows where we would be today. He has given us numerous great memories, he has inspired many including me and he has contributed well to the development of this club. When we (hopefully) win trophies in the coming years, I will look back and think about Arshavin's cross for Henry's winner against Sunderland, his winner against Barcelona, hos 4 goals against Liverpool, and be thankful for the memorable part he played in getting us to that point.

It is true that because he struggled to get first-team football in recent seasons his talent has been somewhat wasted which is a little sad. But we all saw what a top quality player he was on his day, and he has won trophies elsewhere.

I know I am perhaps overplaying this a little bit but I wanted to give him a proper send off. Thank you for the excellent memories and the excellent service Andrei Arshavin. We will never forget you. Goodbye.
