Group A appears to be relatively easy sailing for England and Australia to the knockout stage.
Current ICC rankings
Eng 2, Aus 3, SL 5, NZ 8
W-L in the past 12 months (involving top 8 teams only):
Eng 12-7, Aus 9-7, S-L 9-7; NZ 5-10
Eng. Balanced team in all departments.
Aus. Fairly strong bowling. Uncertain batting.
SL. Many unknowns.
NZ. Bowling is not too shabby. Batting remains fragile.

Don't rule out SL or NZ. NZ just showed they're contenders by beating England. SL are a good ODI side as well. I think this group is also unpredictable, though not as tough as group B.

I can see NZ and SL going through. Especially considering they usually excel in ODI tournaments

If Guptill continues his current ODI form, NZ has a decent chance of making it to the semifinals. Taylor is always a threat.
