I think if we can get a fee for one of NW's old boys we could ship him out in this window ,keep Ashdown and bring in a decent 2nd keeper to scrap for the starting spot.
Personally , I never saw anything brilliant from Paddy and the contract clause meaning he has to play all league games hacks me off as I think it goes against team spirit , and frankly , any player who asks for this kind of clause obviously puts themselves before the team and results.
This is not character assassination but who wants a keeper that's not prepared to fight for his place ?

LIW , this is not a wind up , seriously thought this was common knowledge.
My bad if untrue but heard this many times and is backed up by stats .

Did not go to many games then
One best of the season, saved us so many times.
But may not be same player with out nw in charge.

blue , you can recall all the odd glorious saves that you want , I recall some severe home beatings and not many " man of the match " performances .
Not very commanding for a prem keeper .
Way too small , average distribution .
Have you ever seen a quality keeper in action ?

What a load of bull. No contract will guarantee a place in the team.

I'd sell Kenny too.

No club would right into a contract that a player has to play, yes Warnock signed him and yes he was warnocks mate, however it just wouldn't happen
