Laura really has to sort out her serve.
I know she's not sitting there twiddling her thumbs but her serve is the difference between her making top 10 and winning a Slam or only ever reaching top 30.
Sort it out Laura

she has a lot of potential but you are right about her serve being the difference in her game

It's the mentality related to her serve as well. The first double fault she hits in a match, it tends to snowball and you can visibly see the confidence drain from this area of her game.

I'm massive fan of Laura Robson, but am now starting to get concerned that she isn't getting her problem fixed.
I thought she'd cracked it at US Open last year, but it's let her down badly this year.
She has changed coach, I understand it could take 3/4 months to properly fix, but would expect a big part of the fix to come in early stages.
If I were her, I find someone who was a bad server on tour and who fixed it, and then hire their coach!

Her serve, mental fortitude and movement leaves a lot to be desired IMO.
I think the hype and all this nonsense of Robson Ridge might have done more harm than good - i mean a Virgin ambassador already. it seems mediocrity is rewarded.
