No width!

Sorry but I've been saying for three years that Valencia is shhit, the man has only one leg.

Young is garbage but even he made Valencia look even shitttter than normal. And dear me please Welbeck is not and never will be width on the LH side, fecking hell I thought Moyes might have seen the error of SAF ways with Welbeck, he s not a FOOTBALLER, NEVER WAS AND NEVER HAS BEEN!

End of rant!

Spend some fecking money

You're angry, I get it. We all say stupid things when we are angry. Calm down and move on.

If you have been saying that Valencia is rubbish for 3 years you clearly don't watch football.

Though I wouldn't be so hard on Valencia, but I rarely come out of a game and think Valencia had a good game today. He wastes too much time at the edge of the box for my liking and kills any quick counter-attacks and gives the opposition plenty of time to regroup. He has no confidence in his left foot and once you cover his right he has no option but to pass back or sideways. He is good in defending but in no way is he a top wide player for a top club.

Young is slightly less one-dimensional but again when you look at Madrid, Bayern, City, Chelsea etc he wouldn't find a place in their squad at all.

I think Valencia and Young are both no-fuss players who don't mind sitting on the bench and that is probably the most positive part of their value to the club.

I just don't know why Nani is injured so much. He is easily the best out of three.

Valencia was one of our better players yesterday and was playing according to instruction. GNev and Carragher highlighted this as well.

Just shows why football fans should never run a club, cannot appreciate simple tactics

So all the time he takes while making his mind up at the edge of the box, all those sideways and backwards passing when there are bodies in the box, that's all instructions right? At times over last season Rafa bailed him out but without a good right back he is half the player he is (Jones is obviously not a right back).

Whole of last season we were crying for width and this is not the only game that Valencia is being judged on. If anything he was better than normal yesterday, but we need better wide players in general for the quality of play we strive for.

omment by wicked games (U6573)

Yes he could have put balls in the box but Chelsea were ready for that yesterday and crowded our players out.

Ignore the rest of what he did for us though
