The Kidders 2-0 The SHAYMEN

Kidderminster Harriers v FC Halifax Town.

Tuesday 24th -

The Kidders at home after a 3-0 defeat away at Dartford on Saturday.
That makes 3 wins & 3 defeats from the last 6 games for them.
They sit in 4th place on 18 pts

'Our' lads are in 7th on 17 pts after the 1-1 home draw v Hereford on Saturday.
I think it's fair to say, 2 points dropped there.

Kidders last 3 home games,
v Hyde. 2-1 att, 1,600
v Luton. 0-2 att, 2,800
v Chester 3-1 att, 2,200 so probably one of the better supported sides in this league, but the Luton game would in effect be their local derby clash.

Top goal scores to date:-
Kidderminster =
Malborn 3
Gash..... 3
Dance... 3 all on 3 goals, top 3 on similar 'fire Power' to the Shaymen's

Halifax =
Gregory 4
Gardner 3
Holsgrove 3

Looking at that, I'd say those fortunate enough to turn up might see a few goals.
However, caution for TOWN !
of 4 away fixtures we are yet to win .
3 defeats
5-1 , 3-1, & 2-1, & a 2-2 draw....not 'brill' .

Lets hope this is the 1st away win & 3 points of the season...

Poor away record set to continue for tonight at least

Ding dong battle at Gateshead tonight Ken...
We need Chester knackered & also on the back of a defeat....
For the clash at the Shay on Saturday.
1st home game to top 2000 perhaps ? Defo if we had won tonight

1,700 at the Kidders game tonight & they move up to 3rd.
The Shaymen slip to 11th.
Roll on Saturday & a 'Home' fixture

Oh well.
We'll have to take this one on the chin Ken...
10 shots 'on' for the Kidders to our lowly 3.
& 57%v 43% possession respectively ...maybe we were too optimistic for the 1st away win.

At home & back to winning ways against Chester ????

Chester should bring a decent following on Saturday for the battle of the two promoted clubs. They've not quite adapted to this league, so should be normal service resumed with Town collecting 3 points!

With the other Town on Friday night, Leeds at Millwall (no excuses for me not to be at the Shay ), and the only other "entertainment" in West Yorkshire featuring Bradford City definitely hoping for 2000+

With sHudderz playing Friday night,

is there a possibility that our mate Champers might pop in at the Shay Saturday arvo'

unless either of you want to put a v Chester City thread up....I'll do it Friday afternoon your time

is it me, ??? I can't find 'Chester City' in the non league club list ?

Yeah I'm happy for you to carry on the match threads, keep up the good work

However, after the recent discovery of no Chester City Maybe they've been liquidated and the 3 points will be awarded to the Shaymen
