Hi Everyone
Im not Welsh but i went to Uni in Cardiff and spent a lot of time in Wales, used to go and watch Glamorgan a fair bit and saw a bit of Tom Maynard!
Wondering if anyone has seen much of him since he went to Surrey and how is he progressing? Is he a potential England player and is he close to selection for international honours? Seen a little bit of him on sky in 20/20 cricket, could he be a useful addition to England's 20/20 squad initially?
Read a few articles on here about England blooding a few young batsmen in limited overs cricket with the hope they eventually become test players, is Maynard a potential England test player of the future?

He's done well for Surrey so far this season. Averages about 42 with a couple of hundreds and scores at a good rate. he seems to be a good player but needs time. A move to Surrey seems to have done him good and batting at the Oval helps any batsman.
Think he was captain of the England Development squad the other day so he must be on the radar some where along the line, i imagine for one day cricket.
