The Posh V The O's

Peterborough play Leytonstone in a "top-of-a-table" clash this Saturday.

The O's this week, the U's last week - any A's , E's, or I's to play in future weeks?

Tomlin is suspended unfortunately, however our best winger, full-back Little, is back. Paul Taylor has returned to Ipswich - a skilful individual, but no longer a true Posh team player.

If we can prevent Lisbie and Mooney from scoring, a win is feasible.

Altogether a lip-smacking prospect of a game!

Cryptic or what?

The game's heading for a sell-out, which is excellent news.

Result-prediction-wise, I'm hoping for a 2-1 Posh win (and Stevenage defeat of Wolves) to show that we are still automatic promotion contenders.

As for the missing Tomlin, he is now up for an FA misconduct charge for kicking water bottles after his sending off. I think that would be harsh, as his red card offence really only merited a yellow card. He has my sympathy.

Good afternoon TP, what is the capacity at London rd now? You would have been in a bit of a mess if you had stayed up,with no away standing anymore.
Think you will do well to get draw tomorrow, as we will at Watford, you can watch us before you go.

Hi there, TF. I guess our capacity must be about 12K, with the Moyes End closed.

Your team are going great guns at the moment. I've no access to SKY, so will miss your game. It should be a cracker - Watford are another good team.

Two Thorney-supported team promotions at the end of the season?

Re our game, Ex-Poshie Shaun Batt may feature for the O's. I hope so - instead of Lisbie or Mooney.

The O's are bringing 1.5K+ supporters, so the atmosphere will better that of The Emirates (again).

C'mon the Posh!

A breezy day - let's hope we breeze a win.

Remember those immortal words of Mae West: "Too much of a good thing is wonderful." - (We'd better win now!).

Despite the wind not dropping, we didn't breeze a win or even win. We lost to the better team, and to three well made and taken goals, including a fine brace from dangerman Mooney.

I'm not disappointed as we didn't disgrace ourselves, however, I think we'll be relying upon the lottery of the play-offs for promotion.

We missed Tomlin's cutting edge creativity, but still would have lost 3-2.

TP think you have been sussed as to how you play.
We have had the best start ever to a season and have Man City at home in Dec.Hope we do better than Norwich.

Possibly so, TF. Your team continue to go great guns. Good luck against Man City, though. Norwich were rubbish - however, City were brilliant.

P,S. We were doomed, TF, when Sir Alex decided to attend our game. His losing streak continues.
