England have been brought back down to earth. It all started with broad being the centre of everything at the start of australian summer. would love to see what he feels now.

I dont think I have seen a thrashing of this level for ages in International cricket. even the whitewashes India suffered werent as bad as this.

Im sure England back at home will be a strong team and will probably defeat teams like India and SL who have an below average bowling attacks, and the likes of cook and others will boost their averages by scoring double 100s and triple 100s. But the fact will remain that England struggles against a good pace attack.

Fair play to you and Englandwhoelse, Mafia.

In November there were heaps of you lot looking for a feed on the aussie carcass, but at least you two have stuck around until the bitter end. Have on on me

Personally, I don't watch the short forms of the game and the T20 wc is not a tournament I'll be watching, but hopefully, come The Ashes in 2015, both teams will have rebuilt a bit and we'll see a close series against the old enemy.

After 130 years you kinda get used to it

Enjoy the India series in England Virudagreat, I'll be watching from afar. The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Was there.....I'm pretty sure most said it wld be a close series.......

It wasn't.....but I don't think many have been shocked that the aussies.....the margin and ease.....yeah that was a shock.....

But hey ho.......neither side are all that.....if aus don't start finding more top order runs.....they themselves cld get blown away in SA.

Ozzieleeds. Australia deserve to win the ashes and were clearly the better team. It was never going to be easy for any team touring.. Infact SA were under the cosh in some of the games they played when they were in Oz last time.
I'm not to fussed about the odi cricket. I just cant seem to get excited.
But 2015 is only next year and should be a close contest. I look at Australias batting line up and I still see huge weaknesses there.
So England have a great chance of regaining the ashes in 2015
But your lot were totally the better team and it was completely 1 sided in this ashes.

I'd be interested to see what kind of wickets SA prepare for the test series against Aus.
They prepared some horrifically slow tracks against India.
If they prepare quick wickets. may play into Aussies hands a bit.
over a 5 match series ud fancy the home team. I believe its a 3 test matches series?.
anythings possible. with the loss of kallis and no spinner. South Africa may start to comeback to the pack more.

Nah i think SA still have a better chance. Australia's batting is quite poor. I think even clarke generally struggles there, and I dont think the other batsman have that much patience which India's batting showed when they toured there.

I don't think it will be a particularly high scoring series, think both pace attacks are good enough to cause batsmen problems. SA have just lost Kallis, we'll see how they bat without him.

Didnt see any of this....can I assume we were inadequate again...?
