The Posh V The U's

Peterborough entertain Colchester on Saturday, although the state of the London Road pitch, because of the unending rain, may mean a postponement.

New-boy Connor Washington may start, which should be interesting.

As far as I am concerned, this is a must-win game if the Posh want to stay in promotion contention. Here's touching wood!

UTP!

Shame the game's off, three points would have been good before playing Orient and Walsall. Still, you'll be fresh for next Wednesday's JPT game against us which I have little doubt that you'll win. I just hope we can keep the score reasonable to give us a chance in the return!

Cheers, Don. Good luck to your team, Swindon, against Oldham tomorrow.

Re. next Wednesday's First-Leg JPT Southern Area Final twixt our two teams, it's my wife's birthday, so I am secretly hoping that it might be postponed as it is definitely a game I want to watch!

Well, that's most unfortunate, you have my sympathy. My only advice is to pray for torrential rain.

Some good news for you though. Little Pritchard will be suspended, having accumulated 10 yellows, most for backchat to referees. Also new signing Michael Smith (3 goals in 2 games) is cup tied.

That's a shame about Michael Smith - would have been good to see him play. Surely cup-tying should not apply to the minor competitions?!

Shocking pic of the state of our pitch earlier today:
