I have just been offered a job and I have accepted and received a contract.
I start next Thursday, I am going away to Thailand on the 5th of May to the 18th of May.
Everything has been done through the agency, when is the best time to tell them I am going away?
Shall I call the agency on Monday and tell them or shall I wait until next Thursday when I go in to tell them OR should I have told them before I accepted the offer?
To be honest, I was so excited about being offered the job I completely forgot about the holiday etc.
ADVICE PLEASE
New job - Holiday soon!

Just tell them on your first day, you should probably have told them already whether they ask you or not
Not much you can do about it now.

Tell them you have a holiday booked and show them evidence/tickets.
They want you, they won't let something like this spoil it

I'm looking for a new job and have the same issue! Getting married and want to book honeymoon in the summer but don't know when it will be. Assuming I do get one I would tell them as soon as I'd agreed contract etc.
Good luck!
