Murphy - technically a better footballer than Austin. A better range of passing and more comfortable in possession. Austin is the better tackler. Both are terrible at shooting but at least Murphy picks the time whereas Austin gifts the ball to the opposition with poor decisions. Overall this season i would say Murphy is a 6/10 player - a disappointment for £1m. Austin a 5.5/10 player.

TBH this was not an anti Austin article. We are being blinded by mediocrity . We are a 2nd tier club with 2nd players and if we are honest enough ,90% just aint good enough.
