Hi Guys, it has indeed been a long winter and the sport we all love returns this weekend. Can you feel the excitement in the air? I’m tingling all over with excitement; even the wife who I have initiated into the sport can hardly contain their excitement.
Also, the prediction game starts as well so put your predictions in by Thursday at zdkf1.com. Looks to me, we are not that far off last years’ times. I would go for a pole lap at the very most a second and a half slower than last year. From winter testing it appears Mercedes have got the best Power Train , I hate that word but this year will see the return of unreliability with the fizzy drinks car and others having numerous issues.
It would take a brave man to predict who will finish this race or who could win it and you can never count out the matador, Senor Alonso. So what are your predictions, thoughts and hopes for the new season? For me personally I do not want to see one team dominate the entire season, so a variety of winners with people being close together rather than almost a minute faster than everyone else will be phenomenal.
I would however like to see the following happen;
Some last lap failures
No multi anyone's, let them race until its mathematically impossible for the other driver to win the title
Overtaking outside the DRS zone
More scantily clad paddock girls
A world champion that has not won the title in the past 4 years

I would like to see a new WDC like Rosberg or Magnussen or Massa.
For pole prediction time I have gone for Lewis Hamilton with last year's pole time plus one second.

Wonder if Maurussia or Catherham will pick up their first ever points.
I do like the reliability we've had over the past decade, but might be interesting for a season to go back to the old days of attrition. Will give the backmarkers a bit more exposure anyway.

for the first time in yrs i really cant even make a reasonable guess as to who might win melbourne , my head says any driver from the top 3 merc teams ,
my head also says the spaniard in the red car as he is one ultra smart hombre that didnt just come down with the last shower and will probably be on the money regarding all his cars systems and the speed required to judge the pace to fuel consumption ratio needed to win the race at the slowest possible speed -
my heart is hoping that either bottas or magnum win as a first win would give either of them absolutely no fear to mix it with the big names for the rest of the season -
as to the rest of your wish list --- as somebody that is hung like "o" reillys prize bull it has always been my wish that they have as many scantily glad little dollies with there threepenny bits on show as is possible at each race -
