the "Yes" thing reminds me of Stone colds "WHAT?" faze, everyone went mental for that and fans were saying it even when Austin wasn't even involved in the story

The only way Bryan would've gotten over in the Attitude Era would've been as either a Chris Benoit mould of baby face, judged on nothing but his wrestling ability and keeping his trap firmly shut. Or the Kurt Angle mould of comedic heel, mocking the era with his own brand of slapstick counter culture to it (being he pretty much represents everything the Attitude Era didn't). Either way, he'd have been nothing but a solid mid-carder.

Can't see anyone from todays WWE getting mega over in the Attitude Era to be honest. The Attitude Era was much more about being flamboyant than it ever was about being hard - everyone in todays product is far too passive, which isn't a bad thing. And it works both way, The Rock has proven that.
