Problems or excuses?

Hi guys, been a while since I've made an article, JA606 has seemed pretty quiet from what I've seen recently, so I'll bring up a topical subject.

As a lot of you know, I am a massive Lewis Hamilton fan, leadint to why I'm sure some may appreciate this more than others considering, but something doesn't quite strike with me about Lewis' message regarding his vision late into the Monaco race. For 2 reasons:

1: Hamilton never mentioned anything of the vision problems to the media after the race, nothing worth exploring but nothing conclusive and proving either.
2: Hamilton wasn't producing any overtaking opportunities on Rosberg at Monaco.

So taking these two points into consideration, is it worth questioning if Hamilton really did have a vision issue, or was he just giving up on the possibility to win the race and thinking about the long run? Because to me, if that is the case, then Hamilton just had to think on his feet quickly as to why he'd let the gap grow so much and so quickly in the closing stages of the race.

Also would it be worth questioning if Hamilton had merely lost grip trying to keep up with Rosberg, and let his tires go "off the cliff"?

To me, as much of a Hamilton fan I am, I love the guy and I want a resurgence in Hamilton supremacy, but Monaco left a lot of questions unanswered and I just hope he pulls it together and reigns once again in Canada this weekend.

Your thoughts?

Thought he said something but then said it didn't matter, as if to say what was done was done.

Think his left eye was puffy and he made some comments about it when Pinkham asked him about it.

I did find his message amusing; i.e. I do not care about Ricciardo! Can you tell me how much the gap is to Nico, please.

He had a bad weekend, hope he puts it behind him and kicks on.

He is generally very good at responding so Canada should be fascinating

I think he didnt want the eye thing to be an excuse for the result so kept it on the downlow.

In respect to the overtaking. I think Rosberg did a good job here. Hamilton would regularly catch Nico in 2 of the 3 sectors, however it appeared Nico had set up to be quicker out of the tunnel. Perhaps one of the only places for a takeover. So whilst setting similiar lap times, the lap was done in a different fashion. On a different track, i feel the story would have been different. We shall see,

Cannot wait for Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it was all fake he really put the leg work in. Onboards showed him trying to rub his eye during the limited straights

yeh i never really expected lewis to go that well at monaco as historically for whatever reason he rarely performs well there ,

must admit i have a sort of 6th 7th 8th and 9th sense of when people are making up little fairytales and his body lanquage when interviewed about it and lack of visual signs of any distress around the offending eyeball made me suspect there was something distinctly suspect about hamilitons dodgy eyeball story -

not that it matters now anyway but i suspect his tyres were starting to go off and the dodgy insect in the dodgy eyeball was a little bit of little red riding hood and the three bears
