Is Todd Carney about to join the Catalans?

I think it is a pathetic joke that players with a record who can't get a working permit into the U.K can sign with the Catalans and then work in the U.K. it makes a laughing stock of the U.K authorities in my book.

As for Carney, I can see him going to the Gold-Coast Titans next season in a swap with Scott Prince.

The worst kept secret on the Gold-Coast is the fact of Scott Prince and Greg Bird have had there in-differences and no longer able to work together.

The Titans will have to put ankle bracelets on there set of halves next year if they take on Carney as Birds partner.....exceptional playing ability of no doubt but not worth the luggage in my books.

With news of Leon Pryce signing with Catalans should stop any further rumours surrounding Carney joining them one would think.
