Manziel or Hoyer

Just wrote quite a long analysis of this which has decided to delete itself for some reason and post a blank comment. but the final conclusion was its 60-40 in favour of Hoyer just now.

Interesting I am 51-49 Manziel.

Its inevitable he will be QB1 eventually providing he doesn't implode, so no time like now.

He also seems good at getting down which is crucial in the NFL.

I have a feeling the Browns will agree with you and start Hoyer but I hope (atleast for the entertainment) that its Money Manziel.

Before he was fined for rocking up late, I probably would have gone for Manziel. I reckon Hoyer will start until he has a lousy game, at which point Manziel will come into the team and probably lock it down for the rest of the season.

But everyone seems to forget that the Browns were looking really good last year (by their standards) before Hoyer got injured, 3--2, topping the division and scoring plenty of points. I'm excited about what Johnny football has to offer to, but i think Hoyer deserves another crack at it.

Agree with Mike da Spike. Hoyer will get the nod. The Browns owe him that at least. As for Johnny Soccer, he owes the Browns if anything and still has to prove himself which he has failed to do thus far.

Talk this end is that it will be Hoyer, but that ignores the marketing aspect of playing Manziel and making Cleveland relevant for at least half a season.
