If the rumours that RVP is going to be out for six months are true, it seems a logical move to me. It's a loan move, so money-wise not huge implications (for a world class player).

Manchester United fans won't have too long to wait for a goal from the Colombian if he follows the same path from his time in Madrid. Whilst with Atletico his minutes-per-goal record stood at 112.4 minutes per goal. Louis van Gaal's United have already gone 253 minutes since their last goal.
After only scoring two goals all season, Van Gaal will be hoping that Falcao can quickly find goal-scoring form but there is more to the striker than that. He also has a decent record in creating chances for his team mates.
During his time in La Liga, Falcao created a total of 65 chances and had a pass accuracy percentage of 78.4%. Whilst in Ligue 1 with Monaco his pass accuracy increased to a total of 85.2% across the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons, reports Opta.

Who would have thought Man utd would get Di Maria. The price ain't that bad when you see how much James Rodriguez an unproven player cost. We got Monaco's best striker to on loan while James Rodriguez was overpaid for by Real Madrid so much so they got Hernandez on loan.
