Peterborough Utd V Carlisle Utd (FAC)

The Posh tackle the Cumbrians hoping for hopefully a lucky break from the league.

Injuries, including now Jack Baldwin (out for a year), have contributed towards a lack of consistency.

A good run in the FA Cup would be most welcome.

Good luck (for a change) to the lads on Saturday - UTP!

Bad news about your injuries, you have my sympathy.

You should beat Carlisle comfortably, good luck for that. We're at Cheltenham, a derby away to lower league opposition, I think we'll have a real game on our hands there.

I have to say though that for me the league is taking priority. After letting a lead slip at the Franchise and coming away with nothing (and on our second half performance we didn't deserve anything) we made up for it on Tuesday with a critical win over Preston. Next up are Bristol City, still unbeaten which I'm pleased about because it will give us even more incentive to be the first team to beat them. Not that we'll need any more incentive, it's likely to be the usual bloodbath. Big crowd, big atmosphere, bring it on!

That was an excellent result for you, Don, against Preston, who I feared were turning into another Bristol City-style runaway team. Good luck against the Robins. Wins for you and by us against them this month will clip their wings. Cheltenham won't be easy - a stubborn team. Off now to watch the Warrington V Exeter game - excellent, respectful coverage by BBC2 of the First Round of the FA Cup.

P.S. Captain Jack Payne is back for us tomorrow, as well as Vassell; so hopefully, a positive result for us.

Burton at home - a toughie for the Tykes!

The perfect result - good on Christian Burgess, who I have't rated recently. Bring on Scambridge at London Road in the next round!

Too embarrassed to say much. Total humiliation and we deserved nothing.

More worrying is that we'll be without Thompson N (we'll lose any appeal against the red), Kasim and Luongo (international duty) for next Saturday

Help.

One of those, fortunately, rare nightmare games, Don. Good luck on Saturday.

We scraped a win without playing well. Away at Colchester in the next round of the Cup - winnable, but we need to improve a lot before then, starting at Walsall on Saturday.

This is where I say we're concentrating on the league.

Thus 'we're concentrating on the league'

Thompson N red card rescinded!

I'm truly amazed.
