Project Cars

Hi guys,

Just looking to see if any of the guys on here are online racers?

Project Cars is out in two days now and it looks awesome the only driving sim that will be out on the ps4. It looks gorgeous, the balance physics look insane.

Less road cars more track cars (they have went for racing genre's ie gt3, touring cars, open wheel, karts all old and new)

Im also really happy that the have sent with preset racing gear ratios and no modding of the cars (they want it to be as close to realism racing as possible). C'mon tell me some of you guys will be looking into this, if so let me know and i we can have a mess about on track (note that I will be running with no ABS, traction control, racing lines...basically all aids will be turned off)

I'm gonna invest in a PS4 steering wheel controller before I get any racing games.

yup i highly recomend a wheel and pedals big time.... especially without the aids....

I got the Thrustmaster T300RS kept the original pedals (dont have progressive braking) so some are looking at the T3PA pedals) i dont have a problem with them tho and i will be doing my on wee mod on the pedals to make them progressive.

The wheel is first class tho easily the best wheel i have owned. I also got a steering wheel stand.

All in the game cost me £55 , the wheel cost me £250 and the stand cost (next level steering wheel stand) me £150 so all in all not cheap but the wheel itself is really one of the best on the market, the pedals are average/good, the stand is the best stand in the world that money can buy its awesome so steady !!

As is said a lot of money for just one game but i will use this setup for years to come on the F1 titles, Gran Turismo's also, and the wheel is also PC compatible (and X-box for that matter)

I am a big fan of racing sims, have played a lot on GT5 and GT6 in an online league.

Can't wait for project cars, looks awesome, but I am reluctant to invest in a new steering wheel as I already own the Logitech G27 which cost me £250 but Sony no longer support Logitch wheels. Is it worth forking out another £150 + on a new one? Even though I have a decent racing rig.
