Talking of Wolves midfield players, sad to hear of the death of Danny Hegan today. A very talented if somewhat controversial Wolves player who we signed from the Albion.

Remember hearing a story about him that a Wolves player got injured in the warm up at Molineux one day and Danny was dragged out of the Social Club, with a few lubricants inside him to put in 90 minutes. Had a bit of a reputation as a boozer but was certainly a talented player and always remember him hitting the bar from the half way line in a typically audacious effort. RIP Danny

See Ivan Toney ended up joining newcastle today.

Remember watching Danny Hegan. Sad to learn of his demise as when he wanted to, he could be a decent player. Heard stories of his colourful lifestyle as well.
