A game that Arsenal really ought to have won, and were clearly the stronger team. However, Insigne’s superb late goals brought some pride back to Italian eyes.

Liverpool’s high press away to the Spanish side proved disastrous, and they were lucky to only lose by only one goal. The home side knocked it about their turf as they do, and Liverpool left far too much space for Barca to expose as they pressed up the pitch, not that they need much space at the best of times.

Chelsea made the home advantage count as their quality going forward got the better of the United defence tonight, Utd’s front three were full of top quality as well though and caused Chelsea plenty of problems of their own. Chelsea’s subs had a big impact on the game linking up for the winner.

It wasn’t pretty and despite a great number of chances of it being a draw, Wolves fought for the win, literally. Luckily Arsenal already have their 4 injuries. The Arsenal defence had very little to deal with, but they simply found it too difficult to break through the many lines of Wolves imperious defence, with Oblak star of the show.
