Peterborough V Walsall

At the time of writing my Oldham V Peterborough article from last week seems to have disappeared from JA606.

Shame because we won that game 5-1 and could do with a similar display against high-flying Walsall at London Road/Abax Stadium this coming Saturday.

Apparently, Darragh has whittled down the managership hopefuls to two, but will be keeping McCann in charge on Saturday (and wants the incoming manager to retain him as No. 2).

I hope we play Angol and Otzumer again, as I'll be attending the game and want to watch them start.

Walsall will prove a tough egg to crack, but I'm very hopeful.

UTP (as ever)!

We messed up the site.

I must say I like and find McCann's style refreshing - he's thoughtful and cautious. Robbo suffered somewhat from the bullsh*t of business - "can do", "will win", Etc. McCann has been quashing complacency in the Posh camp after last week's 5-1 win. Hopefully, he'll get his just deserts again tomorrow.

A tough one Thorney but it looks like you could be coming into some form and confidence should be high. I predict a 1-0 win for you.

We're at home to Burton, also tough as I think they're a very good side. We were beyond abysmal at Barnsley last week so hopefully we'll at least play better tomorrow.

Good luck against the Saddlers.

Thanks, Don. Burton are a tough team, so you'd do well to beat them. I think it may be a 1-1 draw. Good luck for a win.

We're at Blackpool, anything less than 3 points won't do.

Hope it's as sunny up in Blackpool, as it is here, Snapski. Football in the sun - what could be better!

An eventful draw between two well-matched teams: beauty of a goal totally out of the blue from Walsall: ridiculous Posh sending off (for underarming a drinks bottle into the Posh crowd - after breaking to recover from a bout of cramp, Jermaine Anderson threw his drinks bottle towards his physio but missed: no malice whatsoever - silly jobsworth of a 4th official): and a justice-is-done equaliser, care of a thunderbolt of a shot by Bostwick from the penalty spot. Disappointed with Angol's performance, but little man-of-the-match Otzumer played a gem of a playmaker's game. No doubt about it - we're a decent team.
