Port Vale V Peterborough

Saturday's game is a tale of two bearded goalkeeping brothers - Ben Alnwick in goal for the Posh and younger brother Jak in goal for Port Vale.

It will prove to be a stern test for the Posh and will be further proof of their promotion mettle if they win.

I predict a 2-1 win.

UTP!

P.S. Good luck, (a further-depleted) Swindon, against Millwall at the Den. Also to Herr Klopp. I hope he can reverse Liverpool's bad luck (now without Ings).

Hafi, he was never going to return to Posh, and we don't really need him now. Good luck to him at Doncaster, who we entertain at London Road on the 24th of October. Should be interesting!

Thanks for the good wishes Thorney. I didn't think our injury situation could get any worse, how stupid was I! We'll have a strange looking side out, I just hope we give it a good go.

I can see you continuing your fine run with a 1-0 win.

Your side are having really tough luck, Don. Hope you snatch a 1-0 win tomorrow.

Sounded like a cracking game with both sides going at it hammer and tongs on Port Vale's big pitch, and with PV missing two dubiously given penalties.

Happy enough with the result.

TP DF lost 1st game in charge to a 1st minute goal. Posh get draw with pen.

A point away is always decent.

Now we need to start winning some home games.

Wigan should have a bit of confidence after their win today. Doncaster look very beatable next weekend.

A good point for you Thorney.

Millwall could have had eight against us and should have had at least four. Our only shot on target was in the 90th minute. As a long time lower league supporter I know full well that there are good times and bad times. This is a bad time

Maybe, Mark Cooper's departure (though unfortunate) will trigger a reversal in your fortunes, Don - like Fergie's did.

I feel sorry for Cooper, he's had a huge injury crisis to deal with. However at Millwall we didn't really out up a fight which is very disappointing. For a short period yesterday when Fatty Evans was the bookies' favourite it looked as though things were going to get even worse, thank God he's gone to Leeds. I don't see us getting a big name but that's fine, I just want someone who can motivate and restore some pride.
