FT Derby 1-1 Carlisle (AET 1 - 1)Pens14-13

Another chance to emulate the Euro glory of the 70s and go all the way.

Maybe get them fringe players involved, we certainly need some spark at left back after Forsyth's devastating news - poor lad but in the meantime, I'm quite ok with Chris Baird.

All the cliches come out for cup games leaving me nothing to write on the next match thread IF we get through, 'give the youngsters a run out', 'try a different formation' 'throw caution to the wind'........

James Wilson is not expected to feature (why not?) but after that your guess is as good as mine.

Team news as and when.

According to my calculations, including match time plus added time , plus extra time and added time, also the time from when the penalties started to when Timmy put us through, that match last night cost the equivalent of 4 and a half pence per minute and and also.......

......24p per goal 👍

And to think we couldn't buy a goal earlier ... turns out they're cheap as chips!

The easiest route through the cup possible would be my choice, try to get as far as we can whilst we're still not clicking... it's been two damn years now, it must be due to happen, and then European football shall be our reward

Or else we'll go out to East Telford's U18 side, or similar.

Watch Elsnik as he scores the deciding penalty, he wasn't sure where to run to and receive his plaudits, bless!

I'm away on exercise for the 3rd round. So need someone like Northampton at home in the next round. Easy draws all the way to the semi finals

Northampton, easy?

Cobblers!
