I think the OP is right though. Ozil is the better player of the 2. If you were to choose based on stats and performance at the moment it would be Ozil and has been for the last year.

Ozil has 6 goals and 3 assists in 9 this season, while Eriksen has 2 goals and 3 assists in 10?

His stats were better last season too, and I'd rather someone more likely to get the ball in the back of the net, as that is our main problem at the moment.

Ah trying to add the European stats too now well those 3 extra goals game in 1 match v ludogorets

Personally I think ozil is the better player of the two and TBH should be. 4 years older and costs 3x as much and on about 180k more a year ( or will be )

But this season between them there's nothing in it just Spurs fans like to be incredibly harsh on Eriksen for some very strange reason

Ozil couldn't play in a Pochetinno team and do all the running Eriksen does

Exactly I read that before this weekend Eriksen had covered the most ground in the prem.

Ozil is a flat track bully.

Exactly. He is better right now and for the past year, and should be given the age and price. So Eriksen has the time to improve further and get where Ozil is and hopefully beyond.

It's disappointing to see we are just too cute in the transfer market trying to sign players that we think will come good but nobody else is bothered about. Rarely does it work....mane was one in the last few years I can think of.

We should always look to improve the squad lamela is the one that stands out much better out there than him. We did not do it. Instead we...

Got rid of Chadli for nkodou a clear downgrade. Too cute swapping guaranteed goals for a young player with average potential. (Nkodou doesn't fit the system by the way so will do little at the club)

We need a backup to Kane. We go out and spend huge on a player with one season behind him and a run in total of 5 months good form.

Poch could perform miracles with a non league side but he needs help in the transfer market some guidance and it's a good thing Mitchell is gone.

The likes of lacazette, James, Isco all fit the system, quality players that would enhance our first 11. One would of done us in the summer.

I just wanna see us push on but we can't keep feeding poch average players and expecting him to turn them overnight.
