We couldn't even beat...

Accrington Stanley.

Our football at the moment has gone from a fancy cheese platter to dairylea. Problem is, is that no one is going to want to manage us. Plus as someone rightly pointed out, his job is relatively safe. But this is Fawaz's Forest and the Frenchman might be wise to shirk this battle before the man from Kuwait meddles and muddles once again.

PM needs to realise sharpish that what he's doing on the training pitch either isn't translating or it simply won't work...and he'll run out of time trying to implement it. Whatever he is trying to achieve defensively is failing. Partly due to injuries and suspensions, I'll give him that.

In a few weeks he will have the full back four available that made us defensively resolute. Lichaj, Hobbs, Mancienne and Pinillos. Add in Mills, Perquis and Traore and he has far more luxuries than other managers that got us tight at the back with the same, if he can't, he needs to go. We're currently looser than a three legged dog.

It's Fawaz's fault again. The Burke sale meant that our defensive frailties were exposed as we then succumbed to our annual carnival of injuries and suspensions. We're still scoring which shows PMs quality in an attacking management style, but he doesn't have the quality at his disposal. To many players injured or having been injured so often they aren't regulars. This is backed up by loan misfits as we spent naff all despite offloading high paid players. Admittedly cheaper and in some instances better, but we had clear gaps in the squad that were not addressed.

For me we have certain players who should either not play at all, or not play in the positions they are being played in. We can all see who those players are, even myself who through positivity, stats and knowing their potential had much higher hopes than how they are performing. In a stable winning side who knows, but there is a rot. It's plain to see.

We can't go 442 yet. Despite what Britt says about being fully match fit, he clearly isn't. So we can only play that combination by promoting a youth team striker and I just can't see that happening. So, formation needs to stay the same, as it's enforced. Formation to follow (I've been up since 3.30 I need to keep myself busy!!)

With the amount of loans and frees in the squad, there is going to be a lack of quality. Also, as has happened in the past, you sometimes struggle to get an acceptable level of performance from them when the chips are down.
