Dream League Season 2 - Week 10 results

Fishguard vs Edinburgh

Two strong sides going toe-to-toe in midwest Wales today…I’ve said it before but this Fishguard side is the strongest version of it I recall seeing, strong back four and a very nice front four – still not sure on Bobby Firmino as a lone front man though. Edinburgh have improved as well and have a lovely spine to their side – not sure on their flanks though defensively or offensively. All in all a nice game I reckon but ultimately Fishy’s FB’s would cope far better than Edinburgh’s – and in a tight game it’s these small margins.
Fishy 2-1 Edinburgh
Firmino (Couts) Couts (Dahoud)
Lukaku (Barkley)

MOTM – Coutinho

Forres vs Juventus

2 of my favourite sides line up against each other, Not sure on Dibbles as the lone front man and that’s the one area of concern for me in an otherwise very strong Juve outfit, the rest of that Starting XI is very good and I can see it working – just not sure where the goals will come from, Forres on the other hand have a heck of a lot of firepower from their front 3 – not sure if Diawara and Kante is overkill as it kind of stifles the midfield
Forres 1-1 Juve
Hazard (Sanchez)
Dybala (Bernardo)

MOTM – Kante

Cambuur vs Pumas

Tough away trip this for the reigning champions, not sure on their injuries but I really wouldn’t play Roma at LB, But I’m not overly-sure if Malcom would be able to fully exploit this potential weakness. I always like the chemistry in sides put together by Elsie and in the past my criticism has always been that they lack that bit of potency up front..In Icardi they have that bit sorted now, But I felt on the day that Pumas were too strong for them, let’s see what the fruity decides

Cambuur 1-0 Pumas
Icardi (Moreno)
MOTM – Fabinho

Wellington vs Goodwick

Baggy has a lovely spine to his side and can hold it’s against the best of teams but I really like Goodwicks front four..Federico and Mertens are in great form and Dzeko is banging them in for fun in Serie A – really tough game to call this and thankfully the fruity did the dirty work for me

Wellington – 1-1 Goodwick

Milik (Goretzka)
Dzeko (Mertens)

MOTM - Dzeko

Blyth Spartans 3-2 Tatung Football Club
Blyth Goals: Zlatan x 3 (Ribery x 2, Immobile x 1)
Tatung Goals: Lacazette (Fekir), Mane (Fekir)
Motm: Zlatan

Two tactical maestros going head to head in this one – always going to be a close run thing imo - but despite the usual late tactics lost slot from Blyth, home advantage & a stunning Zlatan hat-trick aided them to edge past Tatung.
