People bang on about Morata not getting enough goals, almost always citing his goals to games ratio, particularly while at Juventus.
But goals/appearance doesn't tell the whole story in my opinion, and when we look at his goalscoring record in terms of minutes played it's a lot better than people make out.
Let's take a look:
Juventus:
• 15/16: 2377 mins, 12 goals.
• 14/15: 2288 mins, 15 goals.
• Total: 4665 mins, 27 goals.
173 mins/goal. That's still a 1 in 2 record.
Real Madrid 2016/17:
• ~1800 mins overall, 20 goals.
• ~1300 mins in La Liga, 15 goals.
90 mins/goal for the season
90 mins/goal in La Liga.
Club Career Overall:
• ~8000 mins and 58 goals.
• ~140 mins/goal.
So over his career so far it works out to 58 goals in about 89 full games. As I said, simply looking at appearances doesn't tell the full story.
And he's still only 24. Hardly some kind of chump.
Hope we bring him to Chelsea.

The lack of goals thing is an exaggerated argument, but it is one which can be thrown in his direction with validity. Lukaku has scored goals for fun since he was 17 y/o, but apparently doesn't score enough "important" ones - the nitpicking cuts both ways.
We could do better than Morata (or Lukaku), but on the flip side I'm not going to be disappointed with either, and if Costa leave still reckon we'll get both.

Morata scored a great goal for Spain last night,I would definately take him over Lukaku ,just hope he doesn't go to Man U.
