Wimbledon is back!

It's that time of year where I crack open a few beers, open the patio doors and admire the boys while I perv at the ladies pokeys and grunts!

Will Muzza hold onto his British title or revert back to his Scottish failure ways?

Will Novak do anything?

Will Rafa escape injury?

Will Roger sweat a drop?

Won't comment on the women as there's no Serena, so flip a coin.

Federer certainly didn't have an easy route, he was simply in top form.

If you're 43 and still talking about taking female tennis players to the travel lodge, you seriously need a girl.

''She killed a man.She should not have even been allowed to compete here.Anyway nice to see Muguruza win today.''

Another moronic comment. She didn't. The 78-year old man died of his injuries, 2 weeks later.

Oh, and the police have apologised and cleared Venus. She didn't run a red light, she was driving at 5mph (yes, 5) and the man and wife were actually at fault.

she creeped across an intersection on a red light, causing a situation that led to the collision and death of the other driver. She's at fault

See above and for goodness, check the current and accurate reportage and quit spreading #fakenews.

Well done Federer 👍
19th Slam and 8th Wimbledon
No sets lost this year

'had the easiest route through to a GS final ever

I coulda won wimby without losing a set with that draw'

You mean like Rafa in 2013 FO where he could have had a paella in one hand and a ciggie in one hand and could have still won? The one where he faced a crippled David Ferrer in the final?

Ignore these kids, they think only football as a sport can be taken seriously, they come to other boards spouting any nonsense that comes into their mouths.

Just True I am a tennis fan plus a football fan.So I do take tennis seriously. Also I don't go around following each and every article on BBC sport about Venus Williams.I am a Nadal fan and I have to say that despite Nadal winning French Open this year his win was underwhelming just like Federer's win at Wimbledon this year with his opponent not able to play at his level best due to blisters on his foot.So I do see tennis and I am both a football fan as well as a tennis fan.

Z,

I am a fan of both sports too. Although you made the odd weird comment like Lopez being a youngster and Fed not winning a slam ever again for sure (where I didn't know if you were serious or taking the mick), you genuinely seem interested in the tennis, so my comment wasn't really for you.

It's when others go round as if they are about to explode, talking about what they would do to female tennis players and then casually mention that Fed had an easy draw and they would've won the title if they had that draw.

I personally felt while Cilic was really poor in the final, the draw Fed got where he had to play Dmitrov in the 4th Round was around as hard as you can get. I can't think of anyone ranked outside the top 8 who would've been harder.

Anyway, I do agree it was quite underwhelming in the end. I really do hope that some of the younger players can step up in future slams.

Well said Just True.Anyway Just True I honestly didn't know real age of Lopez and thought he had a good chance after winning a tournament on grass before Wimbledon and as for Federer I knew he would win but I wanted Nadal to win who was looking imperious during the first three rounds and Federer had a good chance to win but I seriously thought that Nadal might Wimbledon this season. Now I am hoping to see Nadal win US Open this season though Federer and other players have a lot to say about that.I thought that Federer won't win at least anymore Grand Slam in this year.

Well done Federer, still proving he is well and truly up their still with the best at the top of his game. The fella deserves much respect for his contribution to the game. Title and record well deserved.
