Now that the circus has left town and we've had our fill of the entertainment, we can get back to legitimate boxing and it doesn't get more legitimate than Chris Eubank Jr vs Arthur Abraham at the SSE Arena in London. Jr will defend his super middleweight IBO title against the German veteran in what is a credible step up in opposition. Also on the card defending his IBF featherweight crown against Victor Barros is Lee Selby. The talented Welshman is pining for the bigger names but he must get the victory over his mandatory challenger first.
Jr will go toe to toe against a challenger that should test him considerably more than his past opponents and despite Abraham not being in his prime, this should be a good measure of just how good Jr is. Abraham has the experience and his monotonous yet efficient style has earned him some big wins. Jr is the polar opposite in terms of styles. He likes to throw explosive shots combining his speed and athleticism to overwhelm his opponents. I think Abraham is tailor made for Jr and he isn't the best mover which will make him a sitting duck. Jr should be able to use his speed to land on his hittable opponent but Abraham is a tough fighter and he will plough forward behind that jab. Having struggled to cut weight, I see Jr attacking the body early and dominating Abraham throughout the fight. Whether he can stop him is the question and I still have doubts about Jr's power at this weight which is why I will go for a Eubank Jr wide decision win.

callum smith is a dangerous fighter tho i hpe its eubank jnr and groves final.
was hoping eubank jnr to clean house at middleweight even tho he is now settled at super middlweight tho i get the feeling his power is not there yet at super middle compared to middle.

eubank jnr would not beat BJS, Golovkin, Canelo, Degale imo. Groves is 50-50,and i've never seen Smith box so can't say

what eubank jnr lacks in power more than makes up for it in work rate and energy and speed.
goes through the gears with ease
