You're wrong here. We arent desperate at all. We dont need him at all cost. He cant play EL so he wont help us to win this trophy which should be our main interest to get into CL. Top 4 still in reach but very complicated and it needs some help.

Pace isnt an issue.

Pace is an issue, just one of many though

Im torn between being excited that we might still get him and disappointed that we might not. Releif when it goes through will be a big factor. Getting him earlier in the window would have been a big statement to the other players and the fans that Arsenal mean business, now we all just see it as more of the same that has led to us dropping out of the top 4, and now most would say out of contention for the top 4.
