Apparently several senior members of the squad have told Rodgers they don’t want him back on the training ground.
I think this says it all about who’s right and wrong in this one, I suspect he’ll be pushed out the door very, very quickly. I’d settle for anything over £5 million, if we get anything near the £10 million reported then it goes some way to offsetting the loss of the CL revenue.
So tonight we learn our EL oppenents, it’s expected to be FK Suduva or Lithuania and as you can imagine it’s one we should be taking care of fairly comfortably.
Still no further down the line with signings by the sounds of it and we have until Wednesday to register 2 new players. Tbh, we shouldn’t need anyone for these ties with Ajer back in the fold at defence. We must however, ensure that we get a right back, centre half and Arzani in over the next 2 weeks, be flooking riots if we go with that defensive set up for the EL.
We’ll get an update on the squads fitness later today and hopefully Edouard is back fit so we can get him paired with Dembele again.
