Players who don't get the respect they

deserve from their own fans

So I was reading this article on the United board yesterday about Fellaini leaving, and I was pretty disgusted by the comments. Their fans were celebrating Fellaini leaving and just being so disrespectful to a player who, from an outside perspective, has been one of their best players over the last few years. Time and time again Fellaini has popped up with a crucial goal in a crucial game to win the game for United and I find it bizarre that thier fans have such a negative attitude towards him. He has genuinely been a very good player for them who has scored a lot of important goals for the club and it's bizarre the way they disrespect him. I saw Diafol Coch say that he wasn't good enough for United. Well I'm sorry, but if Fellaini isn't good enough for United, then 3/4 of your squad who are worse players than him aren't good enough for United either.

Fellaini is absolutely a better player than those two. Rashford still ridiculously inconsistent, Lingard good, but doesn't make the same decisive contributions as Fellaini.

I can appreciate there's more than one way to be a good player than being easy on the eye and I understand what Fellaini brings to a squad and why so many great managers have included Fellaini and put trust in him.

He has had good games but he has mostly been poor to average. He hasn't been, as you claim, an important player. We've had Lingard score goals yet there are people who don't rate him higher than a squad member and I'd say he has been more important than Fellaini.

I don't like Fellaini as a player and he was a panic buy when we needed someone with more guile.

The only ones claiming he was important is Robb, you and opposition fans on the Wum.

Man Utd fans love Lingard. If you guys gave Fellaini 1/10 of the respect you give Lingard I wouldn't have a problem.

I don’t. Think he’s a total helmet, but he is a good player, and contributes well to the squad.

Until about last season, many wanted Lingard shipped out. He is now a lot more popular than he was before then but there are still quite a few who would ship him out or demote him to the sub bench. If we showed Fellaini one tenth of what what we show Lingard, then you should be happy with the what we have shown Fellaini.

I don't really see that, but fair enough, you probably know more about it than I do.

I still think Fellaini has contributed more to United than Lingard though and gets treated like literal shiiit by the United fans.
