Then why start a discussion on something you think has no valid spot to discuss?

Whether you consider it rational or not, the hundreds of thousands of boxing participants would indicate there is a discussion there.

Can they not just wear headguards or softer gloves like you do as kids/amateurs. Would become more about point scoring rather than KOs though.

Boxing is literally harming another person with multiple heavy blows to the face and head. It’s barbaric.
