Jones

(shhhh don't tell any Spurs fans I'm here)

So, Jones. What happened? It seems like only a couple months ago that he was 'the future'. .But he's very much 'the present' it would seem.

Messia mentioned maybe Machida would give him a fight. I do think that could be his biggest challenge in the near future, but I still see a win for Bones.

I think he could easily emulate the dominance of Silva, GSP etc...

Why isn't there a marital arts board?

Love watching this guy fight, he truly stunned Rampage who is no mug. Will be interesting to see what happens in his next few fights now. I remember just as much hype about Machida but saying that Jones does look better than Machida did.

Good times ahead for the light heavyweight division

Its a poor division, no one holds a title for long because all the "top" fighters have big holes in their game and the classic big names are all past it, its over hyped cos it was historically the main division

Jones is a good all round prime fighter, its his division as long as he wants it until someone new comes along

Im bored to death of GSP and Silva dominating tbh. But would be nice to see Jones hold on to it for at least a few defences.

Machida was hard to beat with no obvious weakness but he also looked like a puzzle that might have an answer. Jones is just so big, so incredibly strong on the ground and in stand up, that it's hard to see how he can be beat.

My guess is that he won't lose unless he goes upto heavy.

I love Jon Jones but I sort of wanted him to lose or not win so comfortably because having a dominant champion is boring.

I like seeing the belt constantly change hands with unpredictable title fights. At the moment the only 2 divisions that dont have dominant title holders are Heavyweight and Lightweight. Silva and GSP have pretty much beat everyone in there divisions but Aldo, Cruz and Jones dont look like they are gonna get beat any time soon. Its just nice when things are a bit more unpredictable

It took me so long to find out how to create this article, I completely forgot to come back and see if anyone replied.....

Enrique makes a good point though, the dominance is kind of boring. For a while there, it looked like Brock was going to sweep all before him in the HW division, and you could see it getting boring. But Cain taking the title blew the division open again and it's far more interesting.

But it's hard to see anyone causing Jones problems at the moment, I just don't see any weaknesses.
