They`ve been spinning for weeks, all over JA606. The thing is though, the season has gone way past having any meaning yet they are all still desperately trying to convince themselves Pool will somehow be champions. You know things are desperate when you are so eager to celebrate achieving something that is so tainted.

It would be desperately unfair on Liverpool. Everyone can accept they would be very worthy Champs but really, if this season is voided that is probably the best they can hope for - general acceptance of their quality rather than awards.

The overriding thing for me is that it would be even more unfair and unjust to relegate teams without the season fully played out. The hit is something in the region of £50-£60m and if you add that to the financial implications of this virus then it is a staggering sum.

The reason posters like Billy are able to carry on this madness is because it is accepted and replied to as a valid opinion by Spurs fans on here.

They will.

No vaccine, no effective treatment and no cure for Covid-19 means no end to social distancing until we at least one available; and that means no football.

UEFA should have asked for this action weeks ago.
