How many times have Forest had a great away win, only for it to be followed up by a dismal home performance?
Well, weβre gonna find out whether weβve turned a corner in that respect - on paper it should be a comfortable home win, but weβve seen far too often, itβs never that straight forward, especially when it comes to Forest
Iβm hoping Chris Hughton has the team totally focused and ready with the right game plan - a win would set us up perfectly for the big one on Friday
The games are coming thick and fast, we have the depth, we have the players, we have the squad, we have the manager....letβs hope we just have the right attitude and mind-set
Come on Forest - lets really get this season going

I’d like to see us start with Arter, Taylor & Knockaert

Arter definitely. And Taylor looked good but I think he works better alongside Grabban. Grabban has amazing movement and timing and we don’t have anyone else like him. He just needs to get any kind of goal for his confidence. Not sure how he missed that chance at the end. Just had to side foot but somehow sliced it inexplicably

20th v 21st, wow that is incredible. Not what anyone would have expected before the season kicked off.

A lot of good individual performances in the second half but we aren't gelling as a team at the moment - that will take a few games.
WE need to play at a high tempo for longer periods. Tonight it was first ten minutes and final 25

Tbh I am not to down beat about the result, I can’t remember us dominating as much as we did from the 60 minute mark, the penalty was just unfortunate, but that was their only shot on target, defensively we looked ok, not brilliant but ok. We could have comfortably won 4-1, you just can’t legislate for Grabbans form, and I’m sure it won’t last. We had a goal chalked out for offside, hit the bar, the post and an open goal. We just need a bit more luck and confidence, and we might even turn into a force, it will certainly take a few games, but there are definitely signs of good things to come. Next match is obviously massive, but only from a rivalry point of view, it’s not a game you can use as a yardstick. Neither of us are in sparking form and with El Cloughico everything goes out the window, although it will be strange with no crowd. I’d happily settle for a scrappy 1-0 on Friday, just as long as we don’t lose. All in all things are certainly looking up, at last.

I’ve been sick so skipped the first half and went back to bed.
Good performance all round. A shame about the result but we destroyed Rotherham, who looked a league or two below us second half.
I think we’ll beat Derby. I just hope we play like that at the start instead of waiting until we’re a goal down.
How Yates didn’t get that header in. Never mind the rest of the opportunities we had!

What a soft pen' Christi never touched him, some ref's would have booked him for diving!
Grabban made the goal let's remember that, so he earn't a point not lost two imo. He will come good we just have to be patient.

Watching Grabben miss that open goal, almost made me throw up - how he missed that I’ll never know

Grabban had a spell last season when he missed a few easy chances. Nothing as easy as last night that I can remember. He is quality with a goalscorers knack and will rediscover his touch I'm sure.
In the meantime, Taylor has improved things whenever he has come on and deserves a start. I don't mind if that is as a lone striker, but would prefer him alongside Grabban.
