Cheltenham Town v Bolton Wanderers

A trip tonight for the wanderers to one of my favorite towns in england and Cheltenham's the johnny-rocks stadium. More famous for the best racecourse in the world and some friendly pubs in the cotswalds Cheltenham's football team promoted back to the EFL in 2016 is now one of the favorites to be promoted to league one and sit 2nd in the league with 33 points. Bolton with 2 defeats on the trot are down to 16th with 22 points. A tough task tonight and look out for an old style Dave challinor/Rory delap long throw from Cheltenham. A direct threat Bolton have struggled against the last 2 games. Team news. Injuries starting to hit the squad. Gnahoua added to the long term list with politic, Edwards, miller. Kioso is out short term with tutte. Good news isgrove is available, possibly brockbank. At least 1 change tonight. Kioso will have to be replaced. Like for like Hickman or Jones to move to right back with Gordon or mascoll coming in at left back. A bit more time to get ready tonight 7.45 and also a first since march Bolton are playing in front of fans as Cheltenham are in tier 2. I wonder if any Bolton fans will sneak in?

Ian Evatt the new Bolton manager and Peter Atherton his assistant https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2020/december/ian-evatts-job-title-changes-to-manager/

Since the BEN have said it again we must remember not to mention that word when posting on here until the job is done.

It's good to see the two sizes of Sam back together practicing their skills at West Brom it'll do them good to get the feel of the game again before.......

No return for fans it'll be next year sometime won't it.
I still think it's for the best considering the money it costs to let a couple of thousand in who's making more money than they do now by spending so much to cater for those couple of thousand.
Staying out protects the well being of everybody involved with the club best keep it that way it'll help the club longer term one way or another.

https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2020/december/gordon-makes-daggers-loan-switch/ Liam Gordon has returned to his old club on a months loan. Behind greenidge, mascoll, jones and brockbank for a place in the Bolton side.Gordon has a contract with Bolton until 2022.

Gordon is only 21 if he improves given a bit of playing time at least we'll have a choice of bringing him or saving a bit by loaning him out.
Not having a B team playing isn't helping at the moment I still believe the North West clubs should be working together and arranging such games we could be playing a few a short bus ride away.

In other random news I had an odd trip down memory lane and decided to find the pre-match screen music to the first season at the reebok.

Think I'll add this to my pre-match build up routine for tomorrow.
