Is Fat Sam up to his old tricks ?

Sam Allardyce wants a ‘circuit-breaker’ to halt the Premier League season.

‘When I hear this variant of the virus transmits 70 per cent quicker, we can only do the right thing, which would be to have a circuit breaker.

‘I’m 66 and the last thing I need to do is catch Covid-19.'

Or does he want a 2 week football break so that he can work on his teams defence?

If he was that concerned about Covid, he should have refused the West Brom job and stayed at home where he was safe.

Was a common theme during the first lockdown. The players, staff and fans of clubs that would have been let off the hook (relegation) or let back in the CL undeservedly (Spurs) coincidentally wanted a void and swore blind they were doing so because of moral fibre.

He could be. They do need to work on their defence. They also nerd signings. It also depends on what's going to happen. If we have more games getting postponed, then whether it's in his own interest or not, we will need it to happen anyway. Reports say clubs would like a circuit breaker but the PL doesn't.

Pretty stupid to take the job in the first place if that’s how he feels.

Why? For another couple of million in the bank for 6 months work. WBA will go down, he’ll leave by mutual consent at the end of the season with the 12 remaining months of his contract paid-up by his employers. Easy money for Big Sam.

After claiming his masterclass he ended up o a walloping the next game which was enough for him bow to stsrt asking for circhit breakers etc.

If he was so worried about his health (btw just like troy deeney, mings etc where until they realised the league wont be cancelled) he should not have taken the job.
