Abuse

BBC Sporr reporting how a lady commentator feels she is being abused by on-line trolls. I have mixed feelings about this because I expect that most commentators and sports writers have had the same experience many times. Obviously I am not aware of the content of the alleged "trolling", and some sporting heroes who commentate accept that their job leaves them open to informed ( or otherwise ) critisism.
If you are giving your opinions on-line, especially in high profile, you have to accept it and not cry about it. That is what you get paid for while you are doing a job that millions of orhers would love to have.
Am I alliwed to say "Woman Up".

Agree to a point, but similarly this applies to fans of the clubs that are the subject of their critique. Just looking at comments on here you can see that some people just can't handle the tiniest bit of negative criticism that is levelled at people or clubs that they support.

If there are threats of violence report them to the Police, otherwise she needs to stop whining and toughen up.

"I don't know what was said to her but I'm sure some men had things said to them and if you work in a certain job you should just accept it but I don't know how I feel about it so I'll write some baseless polarised content"
