St Andrews Trillion Trophy Stadium (aka St Andrews)
Birmingham
Saturday 6th March 2021
1500
Fond memories of St Andrews in the snow but not driving back on the M42.
After what can only be described as a debacle on Tuesday, it's once more into the breech as the first team returns to erase the poor performance against Cardiff. We should see the return of CKR, Byrne, Bird, Waghorn, Knight and possibly Marshall. It was a gamble, which didn't come off but just imagine if Colin or Jason has broken down รก la George Thorne what the outcry would have been?
Coventry have been nomads for years after leaving Highfield Rd in 2005 and moving to St Andrews a few years ago. Good news though, they may be back at the Ricoh next season.
Another must win - aren't they all - but we are approaching this with a bit more confidence.
Team news:-
Roos
Byrne
Wisdom
Clarke
Buchanan
Bird
Knight
Shinnie
Roberts
CKR
Waghorn
Subs:
Idem McDonald Forsyth Mengi Edmundson Jozwiak Watson Gregory Sibley
Coventry City 1 - 0 Derby County

Bielik seems to get better the more games he misses. Even Lawrence is improving.

We miss Lawrence like we miss the black death, and Covid has been a handy reminder of how much we really miss that.

The black death gets a bad press. The working wage rose dramatically and there were also very positive environmental effects from the fall in world population. Land that had been used for farming wasn't needed for that and so there was an increase in forestation. Some also believe that it caused a general adjustment in how we viewed the world and led directly to the Renaissance.
So as with Lawrence, it depends very much on your point of view.

I'd suggest the fact we are missing Lawrence tells you how bad things are.

Probably helped bring serfdom to an end in England as well. However the higher wages for farm labourers led to change from arable crops to sheep farming and then the enclosures whereby the wealthy simply stole the land from the people, and most of them still have it.A bit like Lawrence really somethings good, somethings awful.
